Montego Bay’s location in Jamaica means the town enjoys the same tropical climate as the rest of the island. The best time to visit Montego Bay is when summer has ended, when temperatures have cooled and the climate is much more enjoyable.
The summer is very hot and humid in Montego Bay. You can expect an average temperature of 29°C with highs of 33°C. It’s a great time for a holiday if you don’t mind the heat, just make sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and don’t forget your sun protection.
For cooler and more comfortable weather, the best time to go to Montego Bay is in the winter and springtime. Temperatures are still high and rarely drop below 25°C.
