Florida in the southeast of the United States, close to the Tropic of Cancer. It’s nicknamed the ‘Sunshine State’ thanks to its great weather. Temperatures are high all year round, although you'll find things are a bit cooler in March compared to the summer. Florida’s weather is subtropical in the north and tropical in the south, while the peninsula separates the Gulf of Mexico from the North Atlantic Ocean.
