What's the weather like in Florida in August?

Sitting in the southeast of the United States, Florida’s the divide between the North Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The Sunshine State’s location gives it a tropical climate in the south while the north is subtropical. This means temperatures are high all year round with August being one of the hottest months for Florida holidays. It’s also one of the wettest however the rain usually comes in short downpours or thunderstorms followed by clear blue skies.
