      Its location in south-west turkey means that Dalyan enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and slightly cooler, wet winters. If you want to avoid the rain and soak up as much sunshine as possible, arrive in the summer. July and August are the best time to go to Dalyan for high temperatures reaching up to 35°C at peak times of the day. The town is slightly inland from the Aegean Sea, which means there isn’t much of a cooling breeze in the summer as nearby seaside resorts.
