If you enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea, August is the best month for that too, with the average sea temperature also being a comfortable 25˚C. Winters in Benidorm are mild in comparison to back here in the UK, but January is the coldest month with an average temperature of 12˚C. October is the wettest month of the year, with an average rainfall of 86mm. The surrounding mountains protect Benidorm from a lot of the elements, which is part of the reason for its beautiful year-round climate, making it a great holiday destination at any time of year. But there can still be a pleasant sea breeze, so make sure you are always fully protected from the sun and don’t be fooled thinking that it’s cooler than it is.
