Weather in Ibiza
Ibiza is known as the party island of the Mediterranean but it has a lot more to offer than just nightclubs. It’s home to a beautiful coastline with hidden coves, sandy beaches and vast pine forests towards the mainland. The weather is always sunny and warm with just a few showers scattered throughout the year.
It’s location off the east coast of Spain and Northern Africa means that Ibiza enjoys a very hot and sunny climate. The best time to visit Ibiza is in July or August when temperatures reach highs of 30°C and there are 14 hours of sunlight per day.
For cooler weather, travel to Ibiza in the spring or autumn. Temperatures are still high with a daily average of 24°C and because of the Sa Talaiassa mountain, the island is sheltered from heavy rainfall and strong winds.
If you love swimming, the best time to go to Ibiza is when the Balearic Sea is mild. In autumn, the average sea temperature is a pleasant 22°C. For warmer sea temperatures, visit in August for highs of 26°C, which is great for swimming, snorkelling and wind surfing.
