Weather in Goa
Goa is located on the coast of western India along the Arabian Sea. It’s known as the “Pearl of the Orient” because of its distinctive coastline and idyllic scenery. The region enjoys a hot, tropical climate with a dry season and monsoon season.
The average temperature in dry season ranges from 16°C to 25°C. If you’ve arrived in the summer, you can look forward to temperature highs of 30°C to 35°C.
Humid weather is common in Goa because of the heavy rainfall throughout monsoon season, which runs from June to September. The average rainfall at this time is more than 2,600mm. If you’re not a fan of the rain, the best time to visit Goa is between October and May.
Rainfall is very minimal during the dry season, which is a huge difference from the summer. Cloud coverage is far less likely and the weather is warm and enjoyable, making it the best time to go to Goa for a classic beach holiday.
