    Cuba weather July

What's the weather like in Cuba in July?

Located in the northern Caribbean Sea, Cuba has a warm tropical climate that’ll give you lots of sun in July. It’s at the meeting point of the North Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, while the Tropic of Cancer runs through the north. Cuba has two distinct seasons. The rainy season runs from May to October, so July’s one of the wettest months of the year. You'll still get plenty of great beach weather if you book your holidays to Cuba at this time though. North easterly winds will keep you cool, while the Caribbean Current does the opposite and warms things up. Cuba’s mainly flat, although there are mountains in the south east. Because of the direction of winds though, there’s more rain in the north than the south.

    Averages

The average high in capital Havana is 32ºC in July, which only falls to 23ºC at night. The sea temperature’s 29ºC, which is perfect for swimming, while humidity’s very high. UV levels will be extreme so take care in the sun, which goes down around 8.15pm.
