      Cayo Santa Maria

Cayo Santa Maria is a small island located off the north coast of Cuba. The climate is influenced by pressure from the North Atlantic and northeast trade winds, which brings warm weather to the region in the summer and colder weather in winter. Temperatures rarely fall below 25°C but the best time to visit Cayo Santa Maria is in the summer when temperatures reach highs of 31°C. It can get very hot in the summer and UV levels are high, so make sure to wear high factor sun cream and try to stay out of the sun during the hottest time of the day. Winter is very mild, with nightly temperatures ranging from 15°C to 18°C. Warmer clothes are necessary on the colder days, but it’s usually mild and comfortable throughout the season with a very low chance of snowfall. Hurricane season peaks in September and October, with heavy downpours and strong winds being more common at this time. If you want to avoid the bad weather, the best time to go to Cayo Santa Maria is between December and May for less rainfall and warm temperatures.
