    Kenya is a stunning country in East Africa with diverse landscapes, ranging from lush nature reserves and national parks to beaches and cities. Located in the southern hemisphere, Kenya’s seasons are the opposite to the UK.     In the capital, Nairobi, the average temperature in February is 21ºC, reaching highs of 28ºC and lows of 13ºC. The city has around 60mm of rain over four wet days, so you can expect the occasional sharp downpour this month. In Mombassa on the Indian Ocean coast, temperatures are much hotter, with an average of 27ºC and highs of 31ºC in the peak of the day. Just 20mm of rain’s forecast during February, and the weather’s perfect for enjoying the sunshine, beaches and warm waters, which are a pleasant 29ºC. Kisumu is a port city on Lake Victoria, and has an average temperature of 24ºC with 100mm of rain predicted in February.
